Midnight Majesty Maran

Midnight Majesty Marans are a beautiful dark-feathered variety inspired by the famous Marans breed from France, known worldwide for producing some of the darkest brown eggs in the chicken world. Most hatch with feathered feet and deep browns show up through their down feathering , making them a mix of beautiful dark brown and black plumage. The males are barred. These birds combine beauty, egg production with gorgeous chocolate-colored eggs, and a gentle temperament, making them a wonderful addition to a diverse flock.

Midnight Majesty Marans are truly a showstopper in the flock. Their deep, glossy feathers give them a beautiful “midnight” appearance, and their dark brown eggs are one of the most exciting treasures collected from the nesting boxes. We love how they combine beauty with purpose - bringing both stunning looks and delicious farm-fresh eggs to Marusyna Farm. They are calm, curious birds that fit beautifully into our mixed flock
