Magdalena didn’t grow up on a farm - she was raised in a small city, where the closest she came to rural life was drinking fresh cow’s milk from a neighbor and hearing stories about her grandmother raising chickens in a city block.

Back then, she was actually afraid of birds. But life has a way of leading us exactly where we’re meant to be.

After moving to the countryside in Michigan, Magdalena fell in love with the slower pace, the open sky, and the deep sense of purpose that comes with farm living. It all started with just five chickens - a small flock that quickly stole her heart and sparked a passion she never saw coming.

Today, she helps care for a thriving farm filled with laying hens, show birds, meat chickens, goats, pigs and a loyal guardian dog, with sheep on the horizon (and hopefully a donkey, if she gets her way).

Magdalena is also the creative heart behind the scenes: photographing their animal residents, running the farm’s social media, and dreaming up future merch and farm-inspired prints.

She may not have started with farm experience, but what she brings is just as valuable: curiosity, heart, and a deep love for the animals and land they now call home.
Every feather, every egg, every sunrise - it’s all part of a life she never expected but now can’t imagine living without.
